Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy explains which products, content, and promotional materials are not allowed on AiToolsList.Tools and how we handle unsafe, deceptive, or restricted submissions.

1. Scope

This Acceptable Use Policy applies to all visitors, submitters, advertisers, featured listings, and published directory entries on AiToolsList.Tools. It applies to both free and paid submissions, including featured placements and any related promotional materials.

2. Prohibited content and listings

AiToolsList.Tools does not allow listings, promotional content, or submissions that promote, enable, or distribute unlawful, deceptive, or harmful content. This includes content or products primarily associated with:

  • NSFW, explicit sexual, or pornographic content
  • Sexually suggestive or sexually provocative content generation
  • Face-swap, deepfake, impersonation, or identity manipulation tools
  • Non-consensual image, voice, or likeness manipulation
  • Dating, flirting, romantic companion, or artificial relationship tools marketed around intimate or emotionally dependent use cases
  • Synthetic voice cloning or celebrity-style voice imitation marketed as impersonation or substitution
  • Misleading claims of affiliation, endorsement, certification, or official partnership
  • Fraud, impersonation, social engineering, malware, or abusive automation

3. AI and model-related restrictions

Submitters may not use AiToolsList.Tools to promote content that encourages unsafe or deceptive use of AI systems. We may reject or remove submissions that emphasize restricted marketing language such as “uncensored,” “no filter,” “18+,” or similar framing tied to unsafe content generation.

If a listing references third-party model providers or model families, the listing must not falsely imply affiliation, endorsement, sponsorship, or official status. AiToolsList.Tools remains an independent directory.

4. Advertising and featured placements

Featured placement is a promotional visibility option inside our directory. It does not grant permission to advertise prohibited content, and it does not override our editorial, legal, or compliance review standards.

We may reject, remove, unfeature, or refund a submission if we determine that the promoted product or its marketing materials fall into a prohibited or restricted category under this policy, our Terms of Service, or applicable payment-partner requirements.

5. Enforcement

We may suspend review, reject a submission, remove a listing, disable featured status, or permanently block future submissions from a domain or sender if we believe the content presents legal, trust, brand-safety, or payment-compliance risk.
