Claude Duet is a proactive personal AI agent designed to take on operational tasks, follow-ups, and project tracking. Operating on its own cloud computer powered by Opus 5.5, it works continuously in the background rather than waiting for prompt-by-prompt interaction. It compiles daily morning summaries, keeps track of open responsibilities, and contacts the user when attention or sign-off is required.

2. Autonomous cloud execution: Running in a cloud environment with access to more than 6,000 connectors and plugins, the agent uses the user's existing Claude context, memory, and skills to analyze data and perform assignments.
3. Request user sign-off: Claude Duet delivers completed materials such as documents, sheets, or decks, and requires explicit user confirmation before executing sensitive actions like issuing payments or sending emails.
